We do not have everyone’s tasting notes yet, so we are postponing their publication until next week. If you haven’t completed your tasting, please do so as soon as possible and publish your notes as comments on this post from last week.
We look forward to reading everyones detailed comments about these wonderful teas and hope that you all enjoyed the teas and the experience.

Hi,
I’ve had to move my life into storage for the past week due to major problems moving house. I should be able to pick up the samples from the post office and post notes in the next few days. Sorry for the delay, my life has been rather more hectic than anticipated recently

I too have been homeless and on the move. I’ll have to pick up my samples from my mailing address about one hour away…

It waits for no one.

To all:
I hear you, flux seems constant. I can’t say that I wasn’t looking forward to reading all your impressions of these three fine teas, I guess this will just help to teach us patience. Take care an keep safe during Christmas travel season. As always, peace and blessings.
Fr. Patrick, still in the Ohio Valley and enjoying a nice cuppa tea!

the keemun hao ya at first glance shows small leaves and little smell. i used filtered tapp water at 212 f and about half my sample to 24oz. of water in a brown betty pot. i let the tea steep for 4 minutes and pour a mug full. the first thing i noticed was the smell of smoke . not like a lapsang, but lighter and the taste full body, rich something that would go good in the morning. one other thing i noted was that as the tea cooled it became smoother and the taste became sweeter, a slight hint of roasted chocalate. i enjoyed this tea overall .
