Calling all film makers! T Ching is sponsoring the first-ever short film contest, for the purpose of promoting tea-drinking among teenagers. We know that tea has potential in the teen market, but we’d like to see how you would appeal to this group in a thirty to 120 second film. Will it be a mockumentary? Will it be a rock video? Will it be animated?
We can’t wait to see the entries, which will be judged by a panel of tea drinkers, film buffs, and teens. Teenagers of all ages are encouraged to enter!
In a nutshell, the rules - which are duplicated on the image attached - are that the film be targeted to the teen audience, that it not exceed the time limit of two minutes (credits excluded), that T Ching will own the entries and the rights to their usage, and that the film be submitted in DVD format to tching.com (e-mail: editor@tching.com) no later than March 1, 2008. Entries posted on YouTube or other venues prior to April 15 will be disqualified.
Winners will be chosen on April 1. The top three entries will be posted on T Ching’s blog. Good luck, and have fun!
