Tea is as synonymous with Britain as high performance motor cars are with Germany. Despite this, the culture of tea drinking took many centuries to catch on in the UK, and when one delves into its history, a fascinating story emerges.
So, in an attempt to summarize two millennia of tea-based history a colleague of mine and I have put together a timeline of major events from the supposed original cuppa to the state of the British tea industry today – with not a little violence, greed, and fury thrown in for good measure.
Please take a look and let us know what you think.

Excellent presentation. I enjoyed the photos and the text. I did find a few typos but nothing that can’t easily be corrected. Thanks for sharing it with the T Ching community. What are your plans for this interesting ebook?
Really nice presentation. Would work well for those just getting interested in tea. Is it available to use?
Hi, yes it’s free to use here is the embed code if you would like to put this on a web page.
Excellent capture Ed. Pinned it and Tweeted it. Facebooked it too. Very well done.
