I found an interesting idea on-line the other day, having a tea party!
Now there’s a great idea, a theme party of sorts. It’s true that we tend to think of “Tea Parties” as being for little girls, but I love the idea of hosting a grown up tea party. Here’s an excellent opportunity to turn your coffee drinking friends on to the magic of tea. The article suggests that one can incorporate the country of origin into the party. It could be in Japan, China, India, Taiwan . . . For those of you who know me, you’ll not be surprised by my next suggestion: include the
introduction of the profound health benefits associated with this ancient brew. Again, it’s a great opportunity to educate and teach people about tea. First off, they’ll be amazed by the delicious flavor of properly brewed whole leaf tea. You’ll find that many people have never had the pleasure of actually tasting and drinking high quality, orthodox whole leaf teas. When you explain to them the health benefits, it’s a done deal. They’ll try it, they’ll like it, and then they’ll be encouraged to get some for themselves. By actually showing them “how to”, they’ll be ahead of the game and less unfamiliar with the process and more likely to make it correctly when they try for themselves at home. The ultimate would be to send them home with a small sample of your favorite tea.
Think of how good you’ll feel to turn someone you care about onto the healthiest drink on the planet! Now you’ll even have a new friend to meet at your local tea shop for a “cup of tea”. What could be better?
