Once again we’re seeing reports in the International News…tea is healthier than water. I know we’ve reported this before but it is such important information that I feel it bears repeating. The International News is reporting on a British report which clearly confirms that tea is best for all around health. In addition to hydrating the body, it packs a double wallop because of its high polyphenols content. Why not hydrate while helping to fight off those nasty free radicals? It just doesn’t get better than this.
So much for “urban mythsâ€. So with warm weather rapidly approaching in many areas of the country, drink up my friends! Here’s to your health! The most challenging question you’ll have to ask yourself is: should I make white or green tea this morning?

Thank You Michelle, That’s another arrow in the quiver for educating the public/consumer about the wonders of this amazing gift from Mother Nature. That again needs to be stressed. Regards…PJF
On a coffee forum, I just read about ‘red espresso’. Rooibos isn’t true tea, but it is infused like tea and now it is also coming in an ‘espresso form’, which the mfrs’ are targeting at coffeehouses.
It is naturally caffeine free and has as many antioxidants as tea.
Just something interesting I thought I’d share.
In response to Team: The farms in South Africa do nothing to keep the public from assuming that it is not a true Camellia Sinensis plant, by the way they market it. The up side of this is better awareness of the healthy properties of all herb and tea plants, so much the better for the Specialty Tea business…PJF
